Biden's chief policy win, unconditional support for Israel's genocide of Palestinians, has reached a grim new milestone. The medical journal The Lancet has conservatively estimated that 186,000 people have been killed as the result of Israel's genocide already. That is 7.9% of Gaza's population, and it is highly likely that the number of murdered Palestinians is significantly higher given how conservative their estimate was and how densely populated Gaza is/was.

The Biden admin invited the family members of various Israeli hostages to Benjamin Netenyahu's address to congress.

Then it arrested them when they showed up.

Anyway, the Most Hitler Man Alive gave a speech glorifying in genocide to US congress, running through all the dumbest and most obviously false talking points of pro genocide propaganda, and our represetnatives, even and especially the democrats, clapped like trained seals at each part.

Capitol Police confirmed later that six people were arrested in the House galleries during Netanyahu's address to lawmakers.

Hostages' relatives were detained after "standing in front of Netanyahu during his speech wearing yellow shirts with the inscription 'Sign the Deal Now,'" the Hostages Families Forum Headquarters said in a statement. It said the group was later released.

The shirts referred to the group’s calls for Netanyahu to negotiate a cease-fire deal to free their loved ones.

The detained included Michael Levy, brother of hostage Or Levy; Alon Gat, brother of hostage Carmel Gat; Gil Dickmann, cousin of hostage Carmel Gat; Carmit Palty Katzir, sister of hostage Elad Katzir, who was murdered in captivity; and Leat Corinne, aunt of hostage Omer Shem Tov, the forum said. A sixth person was also detained.

In a video the group released Wednesday, Corinne thanked the Biden administration and Congress for inviting them to the address.

The alternative would be for "Israel" to either admit that genocide is bad or else, worse, to admit that they are facing legitimate military defeat in the field despite a drastically better resourced army, because they fundamentally aren't that good at waging real war against real warriors (and also aren't really trying, their whole objective has obviously been genocide of helpless civilians from the jump, but you can't say that and get on CNN)
