The lawsuit alleges that Hasbro failed to properly disclose material related to profitability. During the pandemic they built up inventory, and then demand declined and they indicated they did not have inventory problems.
Personally I don't feel much sympathy for the shareholders. Excess inventory isn't necessarily an 'inventory problem' when they were specifically concerned about supply disruptions.
I don't know what the timeliness for a decision or damages might be, but I'd definitely be even more leery of signing on with them in the near future.

Hasbro learned their lesson. That's why they under-print disgustingly popular pop-art cards like Marvel. It's a lot better and easier to print fewer cards, sell out, then tell your investors that you're an efficient and intelligent company, which makes good decisions with its brands. Such as whoring it out to other brands.
