How can this behavior not be acceptable between two teenagers on the debate team but A'OK for the future president from the United States?

Last night I noticed that as I got more inebriated (and hence, more stupid) McCain started making more sense.

I can't vote, but I'm gently attempting to persuade every registered US citizen I know to vote Obama.

McCain refused to look at Obama during the debate, or indeed speak as if Obama was even in the room. It's an aspect of the debate that's received more analysis than I think it warrants, but it apparently stood out for a lot of people.

I watched part of the debate, and his mouth kept working like he was either trying to keep up a smile or he was fighting back laughter, or something weird.

I saw half an hour of it.
It was painful to witness when McCain's turn came about. Obama tore him a new one on the mention of war veterans being neglected, with the old bastard having no ground to stand on as a rich fucker above and beyond the plight of that very same "experienced veteran" status he's cashing in on... yet he continues to roll on with the same bull he's been pushing for the entire GOP campaign. Ah, that's nothing important, just got to me after a while...

Watch McCain's mouth as he speaks. His bottom teeth show constantly while his facial region between upper lip and eye don't move. It's fucking creepy.
I'd never vote for a man that talks like a bulldog chewing peanut butter.

At the end when they shake hands Obama's lips are pursed and eyes squinting right as they make contact.
I have never seen him make that expression. Ever.
That does not bode well.

The lack of eye contact didn't bother me; there's far more important criteria to weigh a candidate on. It's seriously a non-issue and no one should be judged by that, but that's how this country goes.

Personally I hate the idea of polls and things like the worm. How exactly is it relevant to how I make my decision about the future of my government to know what other citizens are thing as a numerical value. I think it feeds to a group-think mentality where people will make decisions based on what the majority is thinking rather than using their brains themselves.

I'd personally ban the publication of any polls, heck, I would ban them being conducted.
People should listen make their decisions and cast their votes.
Politicians should formulate the ideas the believe are sound and present them.

Well, to be fair, I under that McCain hasn't ever learned to work a computer due to difficulties with his upper arms and shoulders.

Specifically, he can't raise them past a certain point, which makes using a mouse and a keyboard problematic.

I'm sorry, that's why we have a ADA laws. I feel bad that he has a disability but when we have a system of governance in place that is used for everything from flying his ass from here to Timbuktu, he can use it to learn how to use a god-damned computer. There are software and hardware applications that could probably have been offered to him through the ADA laws that would have made it much easier on him.

Yeah, No sympathy on that stuff. sorry.

bullshit. his arm injuries don't need to matter when using a computer. As I understand it, he cant raise them above his shoulders, how many people here raise their hands past chest level to type? I don't, hell, I'm slouched back in my chair and typingwith my hands maybe level with my chest.

He did use a telephone constantly. He's from an era when not everyone learned how to type, and typing isn't comfortable for him. I'll give him that, I don't care if he personally knows how to type.

Not knowing the mechanics of technology as a leader upsets me far more.

And being willing to lie so much to get elected, abandoning all of your own issues seems disingenuous at best. Perhaps that's why he can no longer look at his opponent.

Do I need to get out the campaign paper that point out that Obama supported the Supreme Court decision recently, and has never voted to curtail gun rights?

And if you hadn't noticed, the Republicans tend to make government bigger... The last four Republicans have expanded the government payroll more per year each than the last several Democrats.
