Giant blocks of colored text would probably be awful. Their manner of speech is different enough that it's easy to tell who is talking, so I think we're good for now.

Cool. In that case, I encourage PCs to ask if they want one or the other to elaborate on a particular point. Answers may be limited by their knowledge and biases, of course.

darn the reason i didn't mention them going after specific cargo was because it would lead to questions like this we might blow lady artumes operation if we mention those weapons

ok damage control who has the highest bluff score and what do we want to say to cover ours and lady artume's asses?

also can i assume we only have to bluff lord rojari. azul and his crow? we dont have to bluff the entire room right?

The soldiers seem to be more interested in dinner than psycho-analyzing the PCs. They are unlikely to attempt Sense Motive checks.

Looks like Yellow is our go-to liar. But it's possible to finesse this without a direct lie. Something like "You could ask Captain Munin about the crates, because he never told us what was in them." Or even "We didn't see them open the crates at the monastery."

For reference. Before you make a response in the IC thread, you may want to think a little about what the PCs and this rival party are looking to get out of the current conversation.

wow really no one has better then a 5 on their bluff? i think ill a good bluff would be saying something like "the crates contained magical potions and medical supplies"

this would be telling the truth because the top layer of the crates did contain potions the weapons were packed underneath so the bluff would only have to conceal that were leaving something out

Always go for something outrageous. Like that the monks were smuggling in pornography.

I suppose you might be able to use diplomacy or intimidation instead, if you think that's wise. Depends on what you say.

I am tempted to use this as theme music for the tower dungeon:

I promise not to use this, or introduce an enemy named MMMMMMMMMM:

The first group name that came to my mind was "Two Witches, One Coup", but I understand that not everyone is quite so fond of puns, brain bleach and blowing our cover, so I'll go along with whatever.

That's Reve's preference as well. Felf wouldn't mind seeing some crazy gnomes again, but she'll defer.

Changed my mythweaver sheets to reflect level ups; should be good to go.

At some point V&N would like to have their familiars commune in order to swap 2nd level spells. If you're wondering how that works, I figure the lizard uses the doll as a chew toy. If you're wondering how that works mechanically, then the actual answer is a DC 15+Spell Level Spellcraft check.

Cool, updated. Felf continues to roll super high on hp. Reve needs to get more level 3 spells, at some point.

I'm assuming you want to do Yellow's meeting with Bransen Waike next, but what comes after that?

Here's a few options, but I'm open to other ideas.
- 2spooky4u dungeon beneath Four Thunders citadel
- Mystery of the Druids (and their vine-zombie apocalypse)
- Can our heroes stop the Duck Clan's reign of reptilian terror?
- Interrogate the gnomes about hidden kleptocrat treasure
- Explore the city in general
- Something else?

Reve's generally tendency is to put off any kind of non-urgent confrontation as long as possible--that allows for maximum preparation and/or entirely avoiding the problem. So her basic strategy right now is "putter around" and she'd continue doing that until things come to a head or the party decides to take action.

Personally, though, I'm up for advancing the political intrigue in some fashion. Although, that could very easily include dealing with the lizardfolk, druids, or ghosts. Probably makes sense to at least talk to the gnomes after Waike, though, since they seem to be the last major power group in town. Then we can figure out what's the best threat to tackle.

I've just been going with 4 hp per die. If you want actual rolls or the geometric mean instead of rounding up the arithmetic that's doable too.

Here's how V sees the situation:

2spooky4:
Pros: Potentially make allies out of the 4 Thunders if enough loot is discovered. Between his own powers and Crazy Cloud he suspects they should be able to at least flee most of the dangers within.

Cons: Incorporeals are still way dangerous. He'd rather face Waike & the 2 Thunders than Waike and the 4 Thunders.

Mystery of the Druids:
Pros: No clue. Good deeds probably matter to people who aren't him. Maybe meet up with the friendlier lizards again and make allies, but seems like a long shot. Would make the more popular.

Cons: Flight hex helps, but Plants and Vermin are still two creature types he'd rather not tangle with.

Clan o' the Duck:
Pros: Absolute confidence in the team's ability to enchant, crowd control and subsequently shoot the average lizard war party right in their heads. They are already a known threat to the city and cacking them or otherwise fixing the problem will at the very least please Rojari and demonstrate their competence.

Cons: Oh, how about the part where they're friends with 12 foot long magic snake people who shoot fuckin' lightning.

Gnomes:
Pros: Possibly won't try to kill us, may find possible allies.
Cons: Valdym believes gnomish humor should be punished via exile by catapult.

So, yeah, V would cautiously vote for looking into the Ducks.
