Surely. Surely.Whatever wrote:"It seems the regent will have his due, in gold if not in blood. But it's no business of ours." Reve mutters. She leads Felf around the barge, to check out whatever it was she saw under the water. If it's a fish, then it's for the fishermen to catch. And surely the naga would not be so bold as to attack here, in the harbor of Artume itself. But Reve was never the sort to get by on taking chances. Better to be sure.
Felf, for her part, raises an eyebrow at Crazy Cloud's chanting, but turns and follows Reve, sticking close by her fellow elf.

Munin claims to be a worshiper of Calistria, the Savored Sting. His barge's decorations and poison lab seem to be decent evidence for this, as is his living in Gralton. You are welcome to come up with conspiracy theories about how he's actually a deep-cover agent of Norgorber, I probably would in your place
http://pathfinder.wikia.com/wiki/Gralton
http://pathfinder.wikia.com/wiki/Calistria
Munin has stated that he is looking for people interested in emigrating to Gralton, presumably so whatever vengeance-crazed secret society he belongs to can get a larger recruiting pool. Artume is doing badly enough that it's a strong candidate, and he can doing some good bringing reasonably-priced food over on the first leg of his journey.

Sorry about not posting the other day; the boss had a funeral to attend so I took on extra work due to being an absolutely shameless brown noser.
Anyway, it's probably irrelevant and I admit that this is 100% the ultra paranoid shadowrun player in me talking, but for the record my preferred lodgings would probably be to politely decline sleepovers and set up shop at the Turning Wheel Inn. It's near the harbor but can't unexpectedly go anywhere while we sleep like a barge, it's not officially affiliated with anyone and thus politically neutral, plus it's probably a bit of a rumor mill thanks to having merchants and adventurers around but with the bonus of less gnomes than the other place. And yes, I am totally fantasy racist against gnomes, because they are the fishmalk kender of the pathfinder universe. But mostly I'm just always a fan of staying where ever you can likely talk the most freely.

hmm well if were we chooses to stay will have political consequences i guess we should stay at the castle since that's were most of our plans are are oriented on. although the turning wheel in would make us seem politically neutral for the moment im a penny pinching adventurer and i like free lodging like the castle or lord rojari's manor especially when the turning weel is so close to the water were naga tend to live and lord rojari's manor would offer security and he wants to swap news so we could still get info and the castle is the center of political power here.
hmmm I am torn between lord rojari's and the castle may be we should put this to a vote?

Well, it's a night at the inn, not signing up for the national guard. We may still be able to shack up with our lovely new comrades later if we do enough butt-kissing. Besides, if Waike lives up to his rep backing him might be penny wise, pound foolish. He sounds like the type who pays you a nickel and then builds a toll booth in front of your house.
oh good point then that narrows are choices to lord rojari's manor and the turning wheel id prefer the free room and board and extra protection of lord rojari's Manor but if you prefer we could stay at the inn

It's nice when not everything is a combat encounter. There might be people heading to/from the monastery for their own purposes, even without a major road. Many of their new recruits probably had nowhere else to go, for example, which is likely why the place is stretched thin at the moment (well, that and all the taxes).
But combat encounters are good too. This could be a nice chance for one before we settle into a less-violent routine in the city.

Somebody PMed me about the utility of profession skills as a sort of substitute for knowledge skills. So I'm gonna make a quick statement here. Profession can tell you stuff about monsters relevant to your job. If you have sailing ranks, then maybe you could roll that to figure stuff out about sea monsters. But it will probably be oriented around keeping them from wrecking your ship If you have have smithing, maybe it'll tell you that Ash Rats are great pets to have in a smithy because they both further fuel and live off the heat of the forge. But actual knowledge skills will be better for getting consistently relevant info.

I need to dilute the acid? i looked up the damaging objects page on d20pfsrd
Energy attacks deal half damage to most objects. Divide the damage by 2 before applying the object's hardness. Some energy types might be particularly effective against certain objects, subject to GM discretion. For example, fire might do full damage against parchment, cloth, and other objects that burn easily. Sonic might do full damage against glass and crystal objects.
my armor is chain shirt plus 2 even if acid is super effective it cant bypass my armors hardness because it cant do more then 14 damage unless im missing something
but your right about one thing i would need to keep water on hand to wash of the acid maybe he lets a drop of acid fall on a spore then washes it off with his water-skin would that work?

These spore clouds are made out of countless numbers of microscopic particles. It is kind of hard to single out a single speck on your armor without a bunch of lenses, and removing a single spore would probably require better-than-surgical quality tweezers and really steady hands.
To clean off the armor, it will need to be washed thoroughly. If I was you, I'd just take some steps to kill off the organisms before they take root (in case they otherwise might, though they've only grown in dead bodies and soil so far), and make sure there was no skin contact.
Thoroughly scrubbing the armor with tiny amounts of acid would be slow. Really slow. Slow enough that your 5-minute time limit would be run through several times over by the time you finished. And it would probably leave you vulnerable to arrows if you took the armor off to be thorough.

Yeah, I've said that more than once. Crazy Cloud may exhibit some of my own personal Buddhist douchebaggery. Sorry in advance.
