Binder Question

Post by virgil »

The text for the cold iron claws ability of the Ipos vestige, in the Tome of Magic...
You can strike with each hand at your full attack bonus and add your full Strength bonus to the damage you deal.
Does this mean I actually get a full iterative attack with each hand when I make a full attack action?

The reason I ask this is that I'm trying to figure out how to make as many attacks with a full attack action as possible. I mean, I can give myself two claws, a bite, armor spikes, and a shield bash all at once. However, I don't think there's anyway to mix weapons & natural weapons in a full attack.

Granted, the two claw + rend + bite could work well enough.

Your best bet is a Changeling Warshaper, as you can just give yourself a limitless amount of natural attacks - unless your DM wishes to limit it (such as the popular house rule of "no more of any given natural attack than can be found in existing creatures" - so 8 tentacles, 6 slams, 1 gore, 2 bites, 4 claws, 2 wing buffets, 1 tail slap, 1 sting, 1 ram, then debate over whether "hindclaw" attacks are different from "claws" and "tail" is different to "tail slap").
