Talking about relationship problems

Post by PhoneLobster »

Reporters from a major Sydney newspaper just tried to interview me as a case study of where to find single men between 20 and 30 in NSW.

Apparently there is a shortage in Sydney.

And apparently the town I live and work in has a ratio (and largest regional ratio in the target age bracket) of 11 single men to every 1 single woman.

I felt I didn't want to expose my depressing singles life style in such a manner so (perhaps regretfully) I refused to be their case study and sent them to the local general store to trawl for single guys.

And anyway like I said to them the figures probably just mean there are a total of 11 single men in town.

Of course the real big news here is there may well be at least 1.0 single women in the area.

You totally should have joined up. There is no better place to meet single women than in a study about single men and women. Seriously, the available women would be like numbered for you.

What you need to do is find and merge with a town with an 11:1 ratio of single women to single men. :thumb:

It wasn't a study it was a fluffy article for their newspaper, there weren't going to be other women, heck there may not even have been other men, just me, in an article about me being single, in a major newspaper that is distributed state if not Australia wide.

I felt that might be a tad embarrassing.

Well, remember that that dude in Austria who kept his daughter as a sex slave in a secret basement dungeon for twenty years got marriage proposals. There are enough desperate women in the world that getting into the newspaper as someone who would be willing to have sex with people will cause women to think about that, and some of them will approve.

Eh, telling people I was willing to have sex with people never worked for me. I haven't gotten my name ins the newspaper yet though, perhaps I should try that.
In this moment, I am Ur-phoric. Not because of any phony god’s blessing. But because, I am enlightened by my int score.
