Where was this shot taken?

Also, what are opinions about Palin as potenial VP?

If McCain bites it (and he might, he's old enough), wouldn't that really suck?

I could seriously see her as being worse than Bush. Mostly b/c she's crazier, at least George jr. ... you know what... probably as bad, maybe even worse. George jr. seriously accepted Putin as being a good guy based on "personality", not facts.

Which is might be a recurring problem for political leaders, didn't Hilter do the same thing to the English when he met their leader in person? They met him in person, and instead of long distance communication, Hitler's charm conviced their leader that he was 'safe' and 'didn't want war'.

Ok, that and she's about as bad as Hitler, the society from Farenheint 451 and Brave New World when it comes to books.

Which is fucking scary.

You have no idea how much the idea that someone thought "I want to not have certain books available in a library" scares me.

I mean, the whole point of books is so that we don't have to re-learn as a species that stuff like genocide makes some people feel bad (see: Diary of Anne Frank).

Most politicians want some degree of book-banning, though - whether it's the Terrorist's Handbook/Anarchist's Cookbook or one of many books on drugs.

What does she want to ban? Everything that says Christians aren't totally right?

Time wrote:Stein says that as mayor, Palin continued to inject religious beliefs into her policy at times. "She asked the library how she could go about banning books," he says, because some voters thought they had inappropriate language in them. "The librarian was aghast." That woman, Mary Ellen Baker, couldn't be reached for comment, but news reports from the time show that Palin had threatened to fire Baker for not giving "full support" to the mayor.

Inappropriate language. For Jesus. It's kind of like this.

I imagine this sort of silliness would send them up in flames, too.

He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.

The photo at the lead looks like a military base. She's visited military bases from Nome to Kuwait, so... Maybe Kuwait. Who knows?

Huh. She does look a lot like Tina Fey.

An older, neocon, semiretarded Tina Fey.

Banning Sinfest.

That's probably the most wrong thing possible.

I mean, it's so well drawn, a rarity among webcomics; and its commentary on everything (including poking fun at itself) is really refreshing in the age of pretty tame political cartoons.
