We had the Henee family exploiting their children.

The 10 year old girl who had the cops called on her because she wouldn't take a bath, and the cop shot her with a taser after he approached a child having a tantrum and got nailed in the nuts.

The substitute teacher getting loud and hostile to a 10 year old boy for not standing and saying the pledge.

During this economy, many states in the US are cutting back budgets, many of them on education, and cleaning and repairing schools that have been long overdue for about 40 years.

A judge sent thousands of kids to a detention camp to get millions of dollars while giving them unneeded stress and criminal records.

What other than beating some since into some grown-ups will it take to get them to realize that just because the world is fucked, their lives are fucker, to not take it out of children?

I have said it before, that everyone yells "what about the children". I don't have and don't want children, because I know I would suck as a parent. I have WAY too short a temper. So what needs to be done to safeguard the children of these other parents now to really do something for them?

Has the US seriously turned into a replica of Sodom and Gomorrah?

Do the parents of the country need these same actions taken against them to show how inhumane they are, or maybe locked into prison to work off their debt to their own children?

Where can the kids be placed so there aren't anymore homeless and on the streets that run away from state institutions?

Seriously, this is a bit more important than D&D, and the economy. People are more important than money is, and something needs to be done FAST!

My usual suggestion is mandatory destruction of humanity and the planet Earth. That keeps getting voted down, so I floated the idea that only 75 to 80% of the world's population need die by fire. That proposal is stuck in committee.

Then if he could get in close enough to hit her in the back to taze her, why did he get nailed in the nuts to begin with?

Give me a baseball bat, and a tub of Tiger Balm for my arms and shoulders. I've always had a fairly low regard for the value of other people.

Is what I'd like to say, but really, it doesn't suit me.

Honestly, we just need to get away from eating as much meat, talking less, and reading and thinking more. Meditation and prayer are also good.

Seriously, stuff like that will solve more global issues in the long run than any amount of violence.

Amen. My quality of life has definately gone down since I enlisted and stopped reading so much. I guess my social skills have improved, but going from the silent guy in the corner to anything involving speaking is an improvement in that catagory.

Prayer works for you JE? I always felt silly. Meditation would probably be more my alley.

See now telling me to eat less meat will get you an amount of violence. Taking any food form me or reaching to close to my food will get your killed.

The problem is those that are violent don't change, without extreme measures to force them to change. Just ask Klatuu.

Talking less is also not what is needed, because then is when it turns physical. There needs to be more talking, or at least a LOT more listening, and less dictating.

"You are going to do this because I said so", kind of stuff only creates hostility.

You don't have to kiss someone's ass, but you can always ask them civilly.

Some people you will not get to read more, and some do not know how to think to be able to do it more, because they were taught WHAT to think, not HOW to. So unfortunately they were never given a chance to be able to learn how to think for themselves. They just get sucked in by whatever new gimmick an advertisement or salesman has for them.

People should definately talk more, although I guess JE had different kind of "talking" in mind when he said they should talk less.

A bunch of retarded issues about what, how and when things should be done come from the fact that people do not talk openly about reality, and quietly watch things go out of their hands while extremists start yelling out their bullshit position, conformists side with them, and slowly, the extremist position becomes the norm.

That is also the cause of US' ideological problem - that its conservatives should be put into an assylum, while its liberals are slightly more liberal than Attila the Hun. And I'm not talking about political parties here, but people who follow those ideologies. Have a consensus among such groups? Hell, they wouldn't agree on weapons with which to exterminate each other.

So Mother Nature doesn't get to have the last laugh. None of that "in time, plants covered the ruins and animals frolicked within." Nothing but space dust and another asteroid belt as a monument to my hate.

Of course, we can't destroy the planet yet, so I'm holding off on getting dozens of long-legged blonde scientists in red leather catsuits and lab coats to build my army of robot gorillas who have chainsaws for hands and shoot lasers from their eyes. Do you have any idea how many electronic bananas I would need to keep them happy until I can unleash them on an unsuspecting world?
