what basic resolution systems are there? I know of a few:
- Die+Modifiers vrs. TN (D&D)
- Ability # of dice + Skill # of dice, count TNs (ST/ORE)
- Die vrs. Skill (Runequest, Rifts, usu. percentile system.)
What else is there, and what are the pros and cons of various resolution systems?
