Anyone familiar with Apocalypse World?

I've just read it over and I'm really fucking impressed. Not that there aren't some dodgy bits--there always are--but it looks like it does what it does pretty well.

I've actually been thinking of doing Gaijin Affairs as a modification of AW, so I'd especially like to hear from anyone who played it or read it closely. If there's demand, I'll post my own thoughts/pseudo-review later.
