Archery Speed Shooting and Trick Shots

Post by Lokathor »

So, this guy holds his reload arrows in his hand while he fires his bow, which lets him re-fire his bow in record time and do stunts and stuff.

Interesting. I wonder how his accuracy is when speed shooting like that.

Also, the narration on the video gave me cancer.
Cuz apparently I gotta break this down for you dense motherfuckers- I'm trans feminine nonbinary. My pronouns are they/them.

If you watched the whole video, his accuracy is apparently pretty good. He hits what he's aiming at, even if he isn't splitting his own arrows or anything.

I figured it was likely at least decent. It's not like it's super difficult to hit a man sized target. You may not get a bullseye, but the target will be hit most of the time, if you know what you're doing at all.

That was pretty cool. It totally sounds like it was voiced by an Xtranormal character.
My son makes me laugh. Maybe he'll make you laugh, too.

That's cool. I wonder how long it takes to learn to do that? 1000 hours?

Also, he demo's 10 arrows in 4.9 seconds; and 11 arrows before hits the ground...I wonder what the "hold in hand for accuracy" limit is. (I didn't listen to the sound and I couldn't listen to the last minute). Could he hold 2 batches of 50 arrows and get out 100 a minute?

So what is that in 3.X Fighter terms? I am pretty sure he qualifies as an epic level character, of at least a high level fighter with a lot of magic swag.

For speed, that's really damn impressive, and his accuracy looked decent. Byron Ferguson (he's on a show called impossible shots) does some pretty nifty accuracy trick shooting...guy can hit an aspirin with an arrow, or shoot dimes out of the air.
I am judging the philosophies and decisions you have presented in this thread. The ones I have seen look bad, and also appear to be the fruit of a poisonous tree that has produced only madness and will continue to produce only madness.

Pretty awesome. Hardly epic level, though. In D&D terms, he has Manyshot.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1o9RGnujlkI is about half speed, but she can fire the whole quiver at that rate, rather than a handful of arrows.
