Stumbled with this the other day and found it really cool.

Anyone else got it ?
P.S: it reminds of Glorantha and King of Dragon Pass somehow.

So it's like Rogue Legacy where your character is expected to die and their heir takes over, except character creation takes two minutes instead of just being a single click. That said There's about seventeen minutes of game play where as the average lifespan of a rogue legacy character is about fifteen seconds at the beginning of the game and the trailer didn't show how moving to the next generation works. It would be interesting if they kept your background perks, and perhaps a portion of your level, since it follows that your children would learn from you and the more skilled you are the more they'd be able to learn.
I wonder how easy it really is to die in that game though, they list dying as one of the features of the game but there's no evidence that it's all that easy to die. After all the player seemed to do nothing but power attack over and over in that trailer and they seemed to do fine, only taking one hit over the course of the entire video. But they also only showed what looked to be easy fights so there's no telling.
It looks interesting enough, and it's free, which is good because I certainly wouldn't pay for it based on that video. Then again I'm fairly miserly by nature. Plus I don't have a smart phone so, there's that.

If you like Lucky Star then I will explain in great detail why Lucky Star is the a shitty shitty anime for shitty shitty people, and how the characters have no interesting abilities at all, and everything is poorly designed especially the skill challenges.
Actually, character creation takes 4 clicks - pick clan, religion, occupation and personality. It can take 5 seconds if you wish. Though its a fine opportunity to try to combine traits in order to optimize your character towards a specific strategy. In which case it will take a little more time.
I think the game difficulty depends on how proficient you got with its combat mechanics. Initially, the risk to die show itself only after the "tutorial" stages (until around level 4). From there on, the AI gets tougher and tougher and the enemies traits more prevalent. But when you get good with the game, you can go to level 6 easily. Only then things start getting tough. Anyway, its always wise to pick the right fights to avoid dying sooner than expected.
One interesting thing is how the quests are generated based on a combination of your traits. So, if you create a trader, you can have quests where you go out in trading travels for profit in distant regions (I went to Kiev once), if you create a Thief you have job offers for stealing valuables from rich people ala Garret from Thief games. And the choices you make in certain quests have tangible consequences for you, your family and you clan.

Hehe.. after a lot of playthroughs, I managed to united the clans behind me as tribal king, and soon after I died defending the tribe against foreign invaders. I died "Aureaus the Honored King", old, with legendary glory, and married with children.
