The pretty nifty Slime Wave spell (Complete Divine & MotW - 7th level Druid spell) uses similar mechanics. Albeit, its based on the green slime "hazard" ability to do CON damage.

Re: Warriors beat Fighters
Hmm. Is there an existing resource anywhere with just a bunch of created NPCs? I mean, ones that don't suck. If not, we could probably make one. There is at least one D20 product out on the market that has done this. I saw it about 6 months ago at my FLGS. The next time I'm there I'll check to see ...

Re: Quick Polymorph question
By far and away, the best way to do it is to take the Otherworldy feat in the PGtF book. You need to be of the race of, spirit folk, or deep imaskari race. But that's usually not a problem to rig-up if you intend on being an "outsider polymorph" specialist. [br][br]The feat also gives you ...

Elven racial Wizard level #3 is just as nice. Who the heck ever uses their fragile familiar to deliver touch attacks anyway? Double that familiar bonus, baby! Great way to get a +4 to your Fortitude save for your Wizard that needs it *BAD*.

That's not what I said, Frank. I said Monk "dip levels" - not wholesale commitment to the crappy Monk core class (which 6 levels is). My 6 level build trumps a 6th level fighter or 6th level monk any day of the week - from an overall perspective, not just in one combat mechanic.[br][br]A B...

I have yet to look at the Living Spell monsters in the MM3 book. But I would think that they qualify for Shapechange and Supernatural Ability abuse as well. Anyone have a heads up on that book? Re: Lago's Five Favorite Posts (Contains Nifty stuff)
For feat intensive martial builds, 2 levels of Monk can *sometimes* be worth the investment. Especially if you are using Unearthed Arcana Monk variants. Primarily for the 2 feats, but also for the +3 saves across the board and 8 total skill ranks. The lack of Evasion and Flurry in build usage is eve...

It's funny ... D&D players, being the late 20th century lot we are, will when gaining rulership of a land, often try to integrate late 20th century politics and governmental structures into the lands they hold. On a number of occasions, I've seen your prototypical LG goody-goody try to hold elec...
