lurk moar It's time you familiarized yourself with the classics. I've read 'em. See below for response to all Saving Reno so that you can keep killing hobos does not make you a good person, even if you had the option of moving to Toronto. It makes you the kind of person that good people will tempor...

But how about killing hobos, and then saving the universe? I'd say if you did that, you'd be in the "Good" camp, even IF you killed a couple homeless people. Yeah? Well I say 'Fuck you'. You have to live in this goddamn' universe just like everyone else. So what if you save it? All that m...

Yeah, I'd change that too. This makes me laugh. I agree with it. Oh, and btw guys, "Chieftan's Rage" doesn't mean you need to be a chieftan to have it. You just need to be level 5 and BA, which means the top hunter/warrior of a tribe would have the damn thing... I do like that new NPC thi...

One thing that bothers is me is your assertion that alternating extremes of good/evil behavior somehow cancel itself out to "neutral". In modern sensiblities, It usually doesn't - if you go around randomly murdering some hobos and giving money to others, you're still evil. Well, no duh. B...

And if you're level five, you immediately get some? The BEST barbarians are completely useless regarding Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma. As NPCs AND as PCs, their only job is to bash things. They won't be specializing in Charisma EVER if they plan on being useful in combat (since running around ...

This post bugs me because you get all your history wrong. Alignments were not made by WotC, and originally the only alignments were Law and Chaos, with Law being more Good and Chaos being more Evil in a general sense. Good and Evil were only imported, and naturally they confuse the system, because ...

Of course, one of the big problems about Lawfuls is that, upon entering a new society, they probably don't have a full grasp of it's culture. This inherent side-effect upon Lawful characters creates a second facet of Lawful personality, the need for understanding. Naturally, Lawful characters suppo...

This Thread: It has an introduction

Heyy!!! Um... I'm slightly new here, and I decided to introduce myself so that... I could... I guess.

-*realizes he actually has nothing to say*-

wow... I think I just wasted bandwidth.

So hey. How's it goin'?

Concerning Alignments

I Kinda did this following the style that other people do... Downfalls of the Alignment System As a Lawful character, it was against my creed to kill him, since he was Lawful. But as a Good character, it was against my creed NOT to kill him, since he was Evil. So I accidently cast a Delayed Fireball...

Charisma is actually appeal. But that's not really important... More importantly, Charisma usually serves no functional purpose for the Barbarian, aside from use on Intimidate checks (and even then, the Barbarian's rankings usually outstrip his Cha penalty). The build you have suggested here changes...

ummm... Cha mod bonus? Doesn't that seem a little unhelpful? I mean, a strong barbarian is probably (by that, I mean stereotypically) gonna look ugly as hell. His rage will probably end up DECREASING the to-hit rolls of all his compatriots. Why not just let him give out a scream of rage that gives h...

Alrighty, then. Thank you! I had some more confusions, though... - The skill set has Handle Animal, Decipher Script, and Gather Information. I does not understands. - If I used Overcharge on a Spell, and then put the Spell in a Maintenance Slot (other than the burned one, of course), would the +5 CL...

Would we also have to modify movement speeds based on the roundtime, too? I mean, speeds work out normally in the 6-second round time for D&D, so making the rounds longer would make speeds work out to be a little more, wouldn't it?

actually d6, but he did have Wizard BAB. Of course, that's just like Incarnate above, and the original had 2 good saves (Will/Fort) instead of just 1 (Will). Of course, they get less skill points... but that's kind of not important anyway. One of my players played as one for like levels 5-9, once. ...

As rounds get shorter, the ability to have real world events occur goes away. The police have a response time. The cavalry have a response time. Everything has a response time. Poison has a progression time. Bleeding has a progression time. And so on. A very good point. However, I wonder how moveme...

Dragons:
- Is there energy breath? Or is that a feat to be taken? (same to SR, Fear, etc.)
- Does the 16 HD ability mean I can be a Tiny Dragon when I hit 16th level?
- Dragon hordes = more moneys..?

1) I don't know what SLA and RTA mean... but I think I understand! So maybe taking a level in Fighter or something, if it's worth it...

3) This is a wise rationale.

5) And I also don't know RAW.

Is there a place where I can just learn these acronyms?

Reminds me of the RoW monk... I like this class. But why name it the Incarnate? Was the Incarnate from Magic of Incarnum a poor class? I thought it made a decent tank... -*pokes head up, completely ignoring the ensuing flame war*- Free cantrips and orisons? I like free cantrips and orisons! 1) Would this class use ASF? I mean, the standard 'lock does, and even though this guy doesn't "Invoke" in the same way... well, I was just wondering if I could throw h...

Sorry for a necrobump here, but I don't understand the benefits of the Suliin(or Sulin, Suljin, whatever) Sorcerer. I understand the spontaneous access to every single Sorc/Wiz Spell that exists (which is damn good...), but at max, you can only cast 2 of those spells. It seems like, in that case, th...

This makes sense... and since it doesn't seem like there's more talk about the class... does that mean it's somewhat balanced?
