Wow.
Did I seriously just watch RC disregard all of the very-real costs taken to hit the field in heavy armor...and then say there were no costs?
I'm calling shenanigans!

I'd also just like to see some of these +10 or +20 or whatever Tumble items I'd like to hear about.
I'm not saying they aren't out there, but I'd like to know what, exactly, it is that you're talking about, RC.

So RC, you still have a problem on scaling buffs, and you just sorta accidentally typed "psionics" instead of "scaling buffs" a few posts ago. Repeatedly. Gotcha.

Re: Can Dwarves tumble in heavy armor?
If a guy can wear really heavy armor without being slowed down at all, I don't see why it's a stretch to assume he can tumble in it, too.
I'm checking out the Tumble rules on page 85, and I don't see anything to stop the Dwarf from tumblin' in full plate. I mighta missed something, though.

RC summed it up pretty well.
I respect Gygax for, you know, being one of the pioneers of the hobby. I respect his accomplishments.
What he did to Dave Arneson was cold.

You know, if we were actually cranking out a game book, it wouldn't be hard to have capless as the default, and include a sidebar for how to implement a cap.
Pretty easy.
That way, everyone can play the type of game they want.

How do you not use DC++?
If I were using it, I imagine that I could send files pretty easily, but would have trouble finding them. Does anyone know how to hypothetically do this, or what my imaginary problems are?
