When we actually did major studies with controls on sexual reassignment surgery performed on intersexed children, we found that suicide rates went up . Huh, it's almost like performing a life changing procedure on a child against their will is a different situation than giving a much desired proced...

Could wait until it finishes, and then read the whole archive from where you stopped. Though, you might die of old age first.

That's... not at all what I said. The people I am complaining about are not counseling people to stop and think-that is what therapists are for. There are saying, quite explicitly in the case, that it is a thing you should never do and the alternative is to wait for a magical form of therapy that cu...

Allies do not get to have "opinions" on people that differ from the facts or from their lived experiences. You can support people, but when you start dictating how things "really" are you can just get the fuck out. Maybe I phrased things a little too broadly, but honestly, if peo...

I know your whole shtick is to be a gigantic asshole for no reason, but I didn't actually say that. Like, really, I am going to quote what I said because you don't seem to know how to read, and will even bold some convenient words I used so that I wouldn't be making an absolute statement! If you hav...

In NCIS one computer expert is having trouble being hacked so the other expert helps her out by typing on the same fucking keyboard, each using half of it. WTF? Have the writers, directors and actors all never used a fucking computer?!
Are you... are you serious? Please be making this up.

Alternatively, you might know how you personally feel, but be significantly less informed than someone else scientifically, and not notice because you are a biased ignorant shithead. And those other things might be more important than your feelings. Fyi, you may have missed this in your rush to be ...

Oftentimes I wonder if the Religious Right picked homosexuality as their next crusade because it's a combination of a 'safe' thing to pick on and the fact that it picks at some deep-seated revulsion at the subversion of traditional gender roles. After all, if they decided to crusade against adulter...

So /tg/'s transgender threads have taught me something. If you have an opinion on lgbt (especially t) issues, and you are not the specific letter for which you have an opinion, your opinion is almost 100% of the time going to be not just factually wrong on the major issues, but it will display a com...

Oh. Well, it's an example of a leading question, where you trap the person in such a way that either a yes or no answer is equally incriminating.

Also, you're still being a bitch to Kaelik. Never mind the previous comment. You're a racist. I don't care if there's no direct proof. The way you say he's a wife beater out of the blue in a topic about the Taliban is the sort of thing only hateful, spiteful people like racists do. Wow you are a di...

The issue, Frank, is that this block still includes Alara, which is ridiculously fast. When Alara rotates out, the game will almost assuredly slow down, but until then decks that can't deal with Jund can't deal at all.

I expect to see this guy as a central feature of some combo or another, but not as a main thing in mono-U control unless they give us back Counterspell and a bunch of other cheap control cards. I mean, remember, blue control wants to drop Jace asap, so you have to leave mana for him unless you think...

Blue does combos too.

But right now the only thing it does well is turn your opponent's lands into islands so they can't cast their spells.

Frank, that'd be cool, but if you trade all your mana on turn three and four on a sorcery speed ability to get double turns on 5+, you're very, very screwed. Standard is, as far as I know, very, very fast and chock full of removal-doing that leaves you so very vulnerable that you may just lose anywa...

I don't think you need to worry about being armed. There won't be a civil war (though they really want one), and weapons won't protect you from the terrorist attacks and assassinations they're already trying to commit.

Recessive traits don't die out though, they just don't get expressed unless you have two copies of them. So if you have two people with one copy of it, you can still get someone with two copies if they have kids. A classic example is the gene that causes sickle cell anemia. With two copies, you get ...
