I liked Scrubs a lot for the first five seasons, it should have ended after season six, and why the hell ABC thought it would be a good idea to continue the show with a completely new setting and completely new cast even after the episode entitled My Finale is a complete mystery to me. But overall, ...

Okay, so let me be clear, I regularly open a bunch of tabs on the Den. The issue comes up when I'm going through my bookmarks, opening a bunch of different tabs, and I accidentally call up two tabs of the Den main page simultaneously because my mouse likes to double middle click. I use Firefox, by t...

I have my preferences for the Den set to keep me logged in all the time, but when accidentally I open two tabs for the Den simultaneously (my mouse's middle-click is overzealous sometimes) it logs me out. Not really a huge deal, we'll call this low-priority over that mail error everyone's still gett...

Gelare: the problem isn't that they wouldn't hold up in court. It is, one, that this was actually done and, two, many workers aren't going to have the means or the wherewithal to fight these waivers. it takes resources to go to court. You're right, of course; it boggles my mind that it can take yea...

They apparently forced traumatized workers under armed guard to sign waivers before releasing them . No off to a great start... You can rest easy knowing that those waivers would never, ever hold up in court. They've got all the best parts of undue influence and being form documents. Whoever came u...

Well, BP says that they will pay all "lawful" damage claims. Which as I understand it means that they will wait for people to fucking sue them and then pay whatever they are forced at gun point to pay by the courts of the United States after they are dragged kicking and screaming through ...

I don't think it's necessary, unless fbmf's hands are getting tired from wielding those pruning shears.

EDIT: Come to think of it, I don't even think it would help that very much.

My personal belief is that the developer never fired a gun in his life and also never participated in a contact sport or a real fight after elementary school. Combat in SR4 is essentially based on comic books and batman the TV show by someone who has no idea what they don't know and had no interest...

What is the point of the "Tech Base"? I mean, I find SR history pretty cool, so I'm happy to just have them listed alongside equipment as reference points, but I'd expect there to be a better reason to include them.

History should be one of the most important AND most fun classes students take, but too often it's just an absurd pastiche of names and dates. But really, History is stories . Our stories, our parent's stories, everyone's stories. These stories are crazy, they're awesome, they're the closest thing ...

I really hope a lot of people are going to sue Loren Coleman. I mean, sure, they're going to be one in a long line of creditors, but the guy used the embezzlement money to build a house, which means he has a house , which is a much better situation for his creditors than if he'd spent it all on booz...

Well I sure wouldn't want to live there, but thousands of people each year move to Florida to escape their judgment creditors.

And in case any of you were wondering, Frank hasn't even touched the tip of the lawsuit iceberg there. Topps can sue for breach of contract, as can anyone else who was not paid royalties, as can any freelancers who were not paid for their work, as can probably several other people, some directly, so...

The hope of course is that the next company makes an official board. A board where the moderators can be easily talked to. Where they don't send their crazed edicts down from no-reply accounts. It would be awesome if Frank did some writing for the new Shadowrun and gave us solid mechanics with some actual goddamn math behind them (ZOMG!), but then again, the man doesn't exactly play well with others, and also is in med school, which I hear can be kind of time-consuming. So we'll see.

Or, if you're super ballsy, you can ditch the company and then see if they have enough confidence in their contract to spend 5k to litigate for 8k. Although really, just start by reading the contract. The contract itself honestly won't be that complicated, and sentences like "We reserve the rig...
