Personally, the only way we can tell if the designers put time and effort behind the numbers is to be at the tests ourselves. Otherwise, everything is pure speculation so far. Or we could, like, look at the numbers they have released so far? I have not seen anything in 4e that would persuade me to ...

She sounds a bit like my current gf and she is nowhere near the class of my ex. As Frank said, you are not really in anything horrible, it's just that the two of you see your relationship in different ways. Sit down and talk to her is probably the best thing you can do. She may not even realize how ...

While I generally agree with angelfromanotherpin, I'd suggest a different approach to people we can't live with: Boot Camp. Seriously, about the only place where society can use the fact that someone is OK with killing is in the army. And the brainwashing involved in serious army training will proba...

Jordan was still a good writer in books 8-11, it's just that he lost focus. A ridiculously large cast and a hundred-strong supporting cast, most of them unrelated and mainly there for flavor will do that. Seriously, this is the story of the Dragon Reborn, I don't care who Master Nory is and I really...

Some guy called ISAM did good work summarising the endless books. Pretty funny parodies of the characters I thought. Now I'm looking for equally funny summaries of other stuff. Like LotR or certain movies

A language is a system of communication. Linux has the best version of my favorite game to date: Minesweeper! I seriously carry a Kubuntu Live DVD around which, while technically a tool for repairing PCs, see a lot of use as a game machine in various PCs around town.

I really, really like the setting of Exalted. Unfortunately, it's rules system sucks ass through a straw harder than a black hole. Re: What would be reasonable effects for a heavy atmosphere?
Frankly, I'd just give them a -3 or -4 penalty on rolls and lift it at a rate of 1 per week of adjustment. Heavier atmosphere isn't terribly important in a game of heroic fantasy.

Principle of Motion is abou doing things really fast. You don't punch any harder, it just takes less time to perform your punch. I usually describe it as moving-so-fast-you-leave-aftereffects-that-do-stuff. You might also say he blurs and stuff happens. You writing Exalted fanfic or something?

Because transmitting through the air creates awesome visuals. Compare thunderbolts with... well, nothing. Anyone with such powers would use the air because his mind cannot visualize anything else.

Deadly Precision adds 2d6 damage whenever you fulfill the criteria for a SA. It's not extra SA damage which means it works against everything immune to criticals and it's dog.
