Wait, so... let's say I want to move a stack of 5 wolfherds into a province and start popping out wolves. You're saying I need to:
--put one wolf or human soldier in each wolfherd's squad
--4 turns later, take out the 8 wolves that spawned
--repeat every 4 turns, so that their 10-unit leadership doesn't get full?

No. You can have a full squad. It still puts the freespawn into the available squad and then they bleed out into the province at large. In other news, my only lab burned down, so I can't burn gems for emergency money. Or equip gems to my casters. Awkward. Probably going to be crushed and soon.
