I blame Maxus for making me thread necro this. I present the double cuteness that are my daughters. The older one has actually added some opinion to one of my posts on the board at some point in IMHO. So she's a vague Denizen.

This one is a bit old, but it's fitting that I'm wearing chainmail. I dressed up with my older daughter when I took her trick-or-treating.

This one is a bit more recent. She hasn't figured out that bunny ears are supposed to go on other people.

I blame my wife. I'd have to re-read the whole thread, but I seem to remember Cynic's kid being quite cute, as well. New generation of cute future gamers?

All the pictures I have of myself over the last year are of me doing stand up somewhere so here's me just before I moved to NYC.

Pshaw, I've done that (said mean things to a Denner IRL) so many times I've got several t-shirts and a pamphlet on the matter illustrated by Rory Hayes. It's much better when it's on the web.

If I lived in New York (and new of more Denizens in same...), I'd be tempted to try and get a Denizen gathering to attend one Deanruel's sets. Any Denizens in New York should totally do that.

Lets do it bro. Considering that I'm not main stage caliber I don't think I've ever performed somewhere where their wasn't a bar. Lets grab a beer sometime

Yeah. The other lady is Taslima Nasreen, she's a Bangladeshi ex-muslim and exile. Met her at women in secularism 3, didn't realize she was going to toss my picture on her twitter, it was a little weird considering a lot of us are closeted or have safety concerns, you'd think someone who had to leave her country over it would be more sensitive.

Of course if I cared I wouldn't have let her take my picture in the first place, so no biggie, but it was still a bit of a shock to find it on twitter.

So I went back and read this thread from the start, and of the two Denners who got votes for sexiest, Koumei took hers down and Boolean's entire post appears to be gone (or he changed his name somehow?).

I'd mention all the adorable little girl pictures, but in context it'd sound kind of horrible.

Doesn't that suck? At least once a month I run into the problem that, as a male, there is no way to tell someone their kid is cute without immediately feeling the need to add "I am not a pedo" which you obviously cannot say, because it makes you sound like a pedo.

Maybe that's a problem in society in general. Adorable kids are, I have just realized, something I rarely encounter in meatspace, so I don't know one way or another. What I do know is that plenty of people have commented on the adorableness of the kids in this thread, and it hasn't been a problem. I was hesitant about my post specifically because I would be commenting on how adorable a kid was immediately after stating my disappointment that the sexy pics are gone. I don't think the problem of wanting to comment on adorable children immediately after commenting on sexy adults is a common one.
