During one of the days you will probably want to go to Prague Zoo. Prague has a very nice zoo. In the evening, visit the Cross Club, which is conveniently across the street from the bus station the zoo bus takes you back to. Cross Club is a nightclub and artist commune and the different floors are put together by people with different artistic visions and the whole thing is like something you read about in a cyberpunk novel.
You will also want to spend at least one day wandering around Old Town, seeing the crazy Disney Castle architecture in Old Town Square and poking at the creepy gothic sculptures on the bridges. Speaking of Charles bridge, right next to it on the old town side is Karlovy Lázně, a five story club that plays different kinds of dance music on each floor. It's the most touristy thing that ever touristed and a good place to pretend you're part of the Ibiza set.
Back to Prague 8, you can hit up the Veletržní Palác, which is a giant art museum. Go there sober enough to not piss on any of the priceless objects. In the evening, stay in Prague 8 to go to Mecca, a club with only 3 floors but which was apparently one of the places they shot Blade. It's been renovated recently, so you probably won't recognize any scenes directly. But it's still a place to dance and drink that is a bit classier than the five story. Cover is crazy steep by Prague standards - nearly ten dollars US! Parties go strong in this country until about 3 or 4 in the morning, and they don't actually kick you out until like 8 AM or something.
Get your hotel somewhere around Holesovice. You could honestly spend your whole time there and never dip into the more expensive old town. I mean, who needs to be spending two dollars and fifty cents for a beer? That's nuts expensive. If you have time, you can hit the technical museum or either of the two big parks between Holesovice and Prague 6. You're going to probably want to go to Prague 6 anyway because looking at the biggest castle in the world is probably mandatory.
