Someone challenged me to write an excerpt from FIFTY SHADES OF MAPLE SYRUP - designed for a Canadian audience:

She couldn't meet his gaze. "You find yourself in a very...sticky situation, Miss Quire." All she could see was the shining knife in his hands, the golden syrup yet untouched on the table, pregnant with possibilities. "But I might yet have a use for that tongue of yours." Her knees shivered, suddenly weak.

Despite statins making my life a lot harder, I'm making gains in the gym. Judging by my new max deadlift I've gained 3 points of STR in the past 3 months... Still embarrassingly low but hey, progress!

I once tried to argue for a strength/con increase through roleplaying because my paladin did pushups and jogged when he got up in the mornings.

Of course, the ROLEplaying, not ROLLplaying DM didn't give it to me...
