Bone Rider + Dragon Knight = What?

I was just re-reading the material from the Tome of Necromancy and Races of War, and I wanted to ask about this little interaction:

Say a Tome knight becomes a bone rider, and then decides he is a dragon knight, too. What exactly should/would happen there? Is there any way of combining the benefits of both classes into a single mount? I admit the easy solution is 'ride the dragon, keep the dead thing as a pet', or vice-versa, but having them be the same creature is cool.

How could this be done best?

If you want a dracolich, you could combine the features.

However, you still only get a dracolich two levels lower.

Ah, ok. In that case, normal dragon and skeletal giant eagle, or something, will have to do. Thanks K!
