I'm in the army now

Post by shirak »

So, for the past month I've been in what amounts to Basic/Boot Camp and now I'll be leaving for Specialist training. However, I haven't actually done any training because I've been sick. For 3,5 fricking weeks.

So, I had a cold which turned into a flu which revealed my sinusitis and was accompanied by an ear infection. Later my sinusitis turned acute and even later turned out to be chronic. As of my latest diagnosis I have a condition due to which my sinuses are permanently filled with and producing fluids. Oh, and I apparently have an ear infection in both ears but only one shows any symptoms.

I've been in the military hospital for the past 3 weeks and was now released with 10 days of sick leave. Since I haven't had a cold in 4 years, I was mildly surprised at how things turned out. In any case, this is why you haven't heard from me. Cheers.

Being in the army sucked.

On topic, I really hope you get better, no matter what you are doing, being sick like that is hardly ever better. Good luck!
Joe, who plans to own Newall's Plumbing Company, asked the presidential hopeful about his plan to increase taxes for some Americans. He felt that Obama's increase plan may redistribute wealth.

"Robin Hood stole from greedy rich people and redistributed it to the peasants, so to speak, so if he's [Obama] calling us peasants, I kind of resent that," -Joe the Plumber, a Republican.
