I knew a guy who wanted to play an apostle of peace. He started by buying 18 CHA as a monk. Fortunately he was killed when the party's other powerhouse (CW samurai) provoked a nonthreatening stone giant into combat at level 2.

I would immediately believe in a benevolent Christian God if He incinerated any writer who forgets that theology and ethics in RPGland is different from medieval Christianity.

With all the shit that happens in fantasy, I refuse to believe that anyone would actually object to a big muscly hero strangling a balrog or bending open a force cage.
