What were the nature of the malicious links?
First, fuck you and suck a barrel of cocks. No smiley.

Second, I haven't been on those forums in months, so it's not me.

Third, Iron Mongrel came from Myth Weavers. Not Paizo. He claims his reasoning was because some 4.Fail thread here offended him. Yeah right.

Also, it's funny how the people whining and flailing about me are the same ones that end up getting smited for being an imbecile.

Stop being an idiot.
I kept meaning to go back and correct that.

The "Smitezilla"name sounds like something you'd do. The posting of malicious links...No, that's not. I should have been paying more attention when I wrote that and elaborated a little.

2) I figured it wasn't you. You just tear people a new rear-end verbally. You don't glitch someone's computer out. Whereas Frantic showed himself willing to do stuff waaaaay worse than chewing someone out

3) I stand corrected about Iron Mongler's stomping grounds. I was wrong.

4) I apologize for my inattentiveness making me sound like you were Smitezilla.

He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.

I've seen the trolling on the other board. Intermixed with the insults are links to this site with an invitation to discuss things here. It could possibly be an attempt to stir up negative feeling to wards this board while trolling the WotC boards.

Generally this kind of thing is known as a crosspost trolling. That is you troll in one area of the internet and make it look like another is behind it.

A friend of mine came up with that idea before we even knew what the Internet was: mail a dog turd to enemy Bob, with the return address of enemy Bill, then sit back and watch the fireworks.

Was the OP supposed to be a message specifically for me?

This...
Not that some of your own posters seem to have a high opinion of you (I see that Psychic Robot posted complaining about that very same thing), but you know.
...sort of makes it seem that way.

If it was then I have two questions: Why wasn't it posted in the about the gaming den section then? and/or Why weren't the admins PMed directly?

Because you can't troll in PMs.

That was sort of my point. Not that I have any control over what TGD members do in/on other parts of the internet.

Until I see proof otherwise, I'm going with Kaelik's theory.

Not to mention WOTC trolls are even worse.

Once, on the WOTC chat I had someone openly discuss his sexual fantasies about torturing me, killing me, and then raping and mutilating my corpse because I was a munchkin.

The admins said it wasn't actionable, because "Munchkin" was not an insulting word.

I then had another guy who, whenever I tried to say anything, went on and on about how nobody should listen to me, because I was a troll, a munchkin, cared nothing about character power, etc.

When he wasn't doing this, he was going on and on about how uber and powerful his pure swashbuckler character was.

Oh, and then there was the time I received a warning on the WOTC boards, for disagreeing with the husband of a WizO, who was bitterly and nastily insulting everyone...

But yeah, obviously it's the den that's the problem.

I remember that guy from the chat! And yeah, I don't even think that's the worst WotC has to offer. It really is overloaded with trolls.

Well I agree that this should have been done in private. Airing this over a board would cause negative feelings on this board and the attacks that can be generated by such would cause negative feelings toward the original poster and make this board look bad.

I wouldn't mind solid proof, but that would require the IP address of the person.
I doubt that WotC would provide that information.

Wait, what?

Most people who complain about you just think you're annoying in regards to over-use of the words smite and fail, and your love of trolling other forums and bragging about it over here. I'm pretty sure you're the only person here who thinks you've done any great smiting of anyone on the Den.
Except that the whining didn't really get going until a bunch of people turned into Sundertards, and were ripped apart for it. Then they started dragging my name into a bunch of threads, most of which I had no prior involvement with whatsoever to whine about the meanieface Roy. So yes, I have nothing but contempt for most here because they're doing that.

Tell you what, TitaniumDragon, I'm sick of people giving the Gaming Den a bad name by trolling. So whenever you see someone saying "let's discuss this [here]" and [here] is a link to a malicious site, let me know, I will go yell at them because I'd rather people stay away from the Gaming Den for valid reasons, such as being pathetic wusses who can't take mature language and real debate, not because some jackass used the name of the board to maliciously troll people. You can pm me here, or you can pm on the WotC boards, where I'm "OldSoldier".

I've already decided I'm going to try my damnedest to not continue my old crusade against the institutionalized idiocy of the WotC board moderators...

It's worth noting I don't think ALL WizOs are bad. WizO_Unicorn is easily one of the best moderators I've ever seen for a website, ever, and I still stay in touch with her.

...it's worth noting, of course, that they fired her.

Well, if the new forums migration and its combination of dysfunctional password reset with easily researchable security questions isn't keeping folks away then there's nothing I can do.
"But transportation issues are social-justice issues. The toll of bad transit policies and worse infrastructure—trains and buses that don’t run well and badly serve low-income neighborhoods, vehicular traffic that pollutes the environment and endangers the lives of cyclists and pedestrians—is borne disproportionately by black and brown communities."

Sadly, my freaking bank has security questions such as "What town were you born in?", "Where did you go to college?", "What was your mother's maiden name?", and similar nonsense. And if you knew me personally, questions like "What was the name of your favorite pet?" and "What was the name of your best friend when you were a kid?" are not exactly terribly difficult to guess at.

And this is a finanicial institution. Actually, I think those questions are to my loan account, but still.

Roy: really? I thought nobody here liked sundering and agreed with your points on it, if not your insistence on taking the fight to the rest of the entire Internet. If that is the case though, my apologies.

But I'm not going to take back my general position.

No, most of the people on these boards joined in on that thread and attempted to defend it, despite it being clearly laid out that in order for it to even be worth considering several different and contradictory conditions must all be true. Obviously, that is impossible. And even if it did somehow manage to happen anyways, the fact you have to invest permanent resources (1 or more feats) just to even try still disqualifies it. And that's if you ignore the most obvious flaw, namely destroying your own treasure.

Several of these people 180ed their original positions there simply to attack mine, which made it all the more apparent that they were not actually defending Sundertards, they just wanted to whine and flail about me and pretending to like something they did not was one way of doing that.

And after that I would regularly see someone whining about me in a thread that had nothing to do with me and that I had no prior involvement in, thereby labeling most of the Den in the same group as the idiots on other boards that get all BAW BAW BUTTHURT because they lost an argument with me and follow me around to whine about it at every opportunity. Except they go further as I am often preempted by the whining as stated here.

And that isn't counting the people who seemingly came over here for the sole purpose of trolling me (Iron Mongrel/Frantic, Rejakor, etc). It is worth noting that I did invite Rejakor here, but that was because he seemed to know what he was talking about and was not serially harassing me at the time. In other words, because I thought he would add to the Den, and not add to my list of stalker trolls.

We do that, but it gets a little annoying to remember this other 'password'.

What makes it worse is when you do put in something related - and they treated it like a real password with case and syntax intact, and do you really remember what punctuation you put in your sentence answer?

even worse is when all the questions are things that can change over the years (Who is your favourite teacher?). Or shit that's not exactly memorable. Or questions that don't apply to everyone(Siblings name and age).

Roy, the period of time everyone is referencing, I believe, was the same general time-period when the "Threads that Make Us [Do Things] got shut down, and I suspect that you were (possibly unconsciously) trying to vent your frustration. As I recall the Sundering thread, most people had essentially the same position on sundering that you did, but you took this rather extremist viewpoint and got angry at everyone else when they refused to conform to this extremist viewpoint. It was like they were saying "LIGHT GREEN IZ DA BESTE!!11" and you were saying "NOO! DARK GREEN IZ BETTER!" and then they said "Green is still better than, say orange. How about moderately dark green?" and you were like "NOO! DARK GREEN! U HAZ REVERSED YOURZ POSITIONZ!!1" and it devolved from there.

But, really, since then, I don't think your posts have been that annoying. You were, at your worst, far more cogent than Elennsar.

Though, if you don't mind taking off your spidey-mask, you are/were in fact Crusader of Logic and Sunic Flames on WotC, correct?
