Not having a PoD makes you vunlerable to getting pack raped in the showers at the start of the game.Zinegata wrote:The last one is just Lich, yes.
Master Lich is probably the best choice for Ermor - as he's immortal and can easily be a rainbow mage (expanding Ermor's poor magical diversity) with Ermor's typical scales.
Just have 4 or 5 Death and 2 or 3 in all other magic paths (blood included). And Ermor can resolve a lot of possible late-game issues,

Here are the 200 p. maps
http://www.dom3minions.com/RandomMaps/s/
The third in the first row looks good to me.
But its hard to tell how many water provinces there are.
Doesnt matter at the moment, It makes sense to sort out the nations first.
My picks are
Atlantis
Mictlan
Midgard
I'll update the first post when I get home.
If someone want in, its still possible!
If one of the other players could

Akula lost the dice throw, which is a problem since Akulas second and third choices are allready somebodies first choices.
Akula do you have a fourth choice?
First post updated btw. green are your nations.
For late comers, if you want you can still join the game. Just take an nation not allready picked.
Edit: If someone wants to downgrade from his nation to an second, third or fifth choice I would have no problem with it...

I like the first map listed.
Maybe Akula needs to dice off with Gnost. for Marignon? It's effectively his first choice now since he can't have his original first choice.

I think the first one is the best, because it has multiple splotches of water. The 'one big ocean' maps have a lot of oppotunity to be VERY swingy, depending if Altantis starts near, or a million miles away from water.
The same number of puddles but distributed a bit more evenly over the map (the right side there is pretty sketchy) would also work.

could work as well.

Huh. I thought LA Atlantis always starts next to a sea province, since their site is "The Coast of Ice and Bones" and all, but I haven't checked the database to be sure.cthulhu wrote:I think the first one is the best, because it has multiple splotches of water. That said, Greece Stain and the first, second, and fourth random maps all look good.
I think they do in the absence of fixed starts.Zinegata wrote:Atlantis starts on land, but I'm not sure if they always start near water.
Anyway, I don't really want to play any of the unclaimed nations. And I have found out (and not through direct contact) that someone in this game is using my CD key, so I might not even get to take a turn. So I am withdrawing my interest. I hope that the game goes well for the participants.
