Your choice. Valdym can probably see people gathering on the balcony, and could have shown up around the same time as the others.

Great, unless somebody posts otherwise, I'll assume everybody is heading back and write up the journey / roll random encounters when I finish my geography exam tomorrow. I've got finals next week, so posts might be more infrequent for a bit.

Mount creates ordinary horses (with saddles). You can ride them without having to make Ride or Handle Animal checks, but it doesn't look like they know any tricks in particular.

I really recommend either kiting these dudes or bailing on the encounter entirely. From my perspective our best tactic would be to have Reve go ahead and Pit the critters and then Valdym could top that off with a Web and then next turn Vomit Swarm to make it a webbed pit full of bugs and bullets while maybe having Felf go all Apache Chief on fools with an Enlarge Person. That'd be a nice divide 'n' conquer win right there if we were bullying orcs or something but against a Large armored plant creature that is likely mindless and immune to poisons I like the gamble considerably less. Witch class features just don't interact much with mindless critters--Being a Gravewalker rounds out my spell list a bit vs. Undead but that won't stop Swamp Thing or That Fvcking Crab from ruining my day.

Yeah, running away seems like the best bet, unless we can find the Druid and immediately make nice.

No worries. We didn't know about the ambush, and this will help us figure out that there's a crazy druid in the swamp. Maybe we can make contact and work something out.

Should I color the dialogue text for Azul/Rojari so they are easier to distinguish? Right now, I'm trying to keep the confusion down by minimizing verbal interjections in the middle of an info dump, unless it's something important.
