I actually have a contingency plan for this. I'm really glad it's a tattoo, because it means there's more reason to actually do it.

You all occupy the guards, I remove the skin from her back.
Cuz apparently I gotta break this down for you dense motherfuckers- I'm trans feminine nonbinary. My pronouns are they/them.

Karlus might have a problem with that.

He's welcome to try to carry her...

or killer her raise dead and she walks her way out. skinning her means a fight either way.

though id prefer a method where women arent killed, such as using the hanging silk to drag her out, maybe the stables have a carriage or.....

maybe we set the fucking place on fire so they have to be evacuated. silk burns.

that woman is also a giant at 7ft tall and 400+lbs, they might throttle you if you use violence. also beware of hanging around strange harem scents too long or you end up sex drugged or something.

Would you guys feel better if Kamoses said he was sacrificing her to Set first?

I was considering how, if it came to it, Kamoses' Defensive Blast would be useful, as it's basically our strongest attack and wouldn't necessarily damage the map, but I like the imagery of him raising her corpse and walking it out, perhaps taking 2 slots as palanquin bearers. That said, I'd love to avoid a fight here, and figure we're close to a "meanwhile, Taotie and Velasco...".

If we take care of all the guards on this floor quietly (or just quickly enough) we could buy ourselves a few more hours of time to copy the map. It may not be enough though.

Kamoses is up for any plan, really. If you asked him, he wouldn't see much practical difference between the contingency i proposed and zombifying the girl, save for an additional body for combat.

Now look, maybe my dude really likes snakes, and hopes to one day turn into a snake as precursor to a drug-fueled eldritch summoning orgy that exceeds both propriety and legality in most lands of the Hyborian Age. I just have two words in response: Two. Hemipenes.

Perhaps everyone can make a run for the trap door and the stygian can explode.

The enormity of what we're dealing with in this harem has really been throwing me for a loop. Beholders or thor shots? I can handle that. But the drugged Fat Princess gambit? How do we get her down the rope? I mean, if she falls and breaks her neck that might actually be the most manageable thing because we could zombify or flay her, as terrible and hilariously inept as that may be. But if she goes down first and the rope breaks? Then we're stuck up here. But if she goes down last and falls she might land on somebody...

Yeah. Maybe she can just bolt out the main door, or we go for the stables. Or we zombify a snake woman to carry her because those things are really strong (but thankfully drugged up)

Well, we could consider attacking, since we have have some animals, equipment, and 4 or so slaves we'd otherwise lose. Neb has a Defensive Blast that only targets enemies, which would likely (+16 to attack) hit most of them and force a Fort save (DC=magic attack roll) or stun and poison, which would give Kam. a chance to bust out his Chill of the Grave, triggering an on average 24DC massive damage check. The weak part of that is definitely the first fort save, though.

Plus, I'm betting there's serpent woman skin under all the rugs, and another copy of the map there.

I'm open to going on the offensive although it'd obviously pay to know how many people we are currently dealing with.

[This might be venturing too far into something that should be done IC, but we do have the lord's favourite concubine, someone very precious to him, right next to several sharp blades. If we threaten to kill her, we might be able to leverage something out of this.]

I'm tempted to rush them and use Chill of the Grave, but I'm down to 14 hp, and I don't expect that to work out too well.

Spot Check: Kamose, Neb, and Isandro notice that the trap door in the corner that Velaso and Taotieh came through has locks on the outside (i.e. it locks from the stairwell).

The more agile folks can shimmy over the wall, but there's stuff of ours in the courtyard right? Do we need to jump down there and clobber the guards?

Sorry about the delay, OgreBattle appears to be hung up a bit. We'll give him a little more time.

Okay, I'm going to give OB another 24 hours, then if he still hasn't posted we'll continue with his character as a temporary NPC.
