Good piont I never considered these might not be native hippogriffs. May be they decended from escaped ones? hell we might have been poaching without knowing it!

When I was going over Reve's stats for the DC of the Glitterdust, I figured that she could just autopass this knowledge check.
Sprites gather in groups deep in forested lands, aligned to the cause of defending nature. Whole tribes of sprites deem themselves protectors of a certain person, place, or creature of importance in their lands, even if the being doesn't actually want or need protecting.

A sprite's body is naturally luminous, although the sprite can vary the color and intensity of its body as it wishes. Shortly after death, a sprite's body simply melts away to a twinkling vapor. Sprites are among the smallest of fey, standing just over 9 inches in height and rarely weighing more than 1 or 2 pounds.

Sprites are more primitive in many ways than most fey. They enjoy each other's company, but tend to be distrustful of other fey and assume any humanoids and any other creatures that they haven't expressly chosen to protect mean to do them ill. Even animals are generally regarded as dangerous. Much of this is due to sprites' diminutive size, which makes them popular targets for predators. As a result, a sprite's initial reaction to danger is typically to flee—it uses its spell-like abilities to delay or distract pursuers, and relies on its speed in flight and its size to allow it to escape in the end.

While sprites themselves are relatively uncultured and savage in nature, they do have a healthy curiosity for all things magical in nature. They are particularly drawn to sites of great but latent magical power, such as the ruins of ancient temples. This curiosity makes them unusually receptive to roles as familiars as well. A 5th-level chaotic neutral spellcaster with the Improved Familiar feat can gain a sprite as a familiar.

I don't see anything keeping you from sending a flare 400 feet up. That's the maximum range of your weapon. Actually hitting something specific would be a challenge, but you could easily shoot at the vague vicinity of the hippogriffs.

So I assume Reve is holding back for now. We're just waiting on Valdym and Nesha then.

Funny, I rolled exactly the same on both dice for the crossbow. That's improbable enough that I was tempted to say it was a crit.

Now that I finally have access to a real computer, I'll go set the DCs in her prepared spells section.

Choice and Consequence :)

[Knowledge]
Redcaps embody the the most merciless and unpleasant aspects of nature. As such they often do not get along well with other fey. A redcap generally shows other fey a certain minimal amount of courtesy but are not friendly to them, particularly to fey that do not fight like nymphs and dryads as they consider them too delicate or flowery. Despite this dislike redcaps often serve as mercenaries to other less violent fey. Redcaps prefer to dwell in hills though they can be found in other types of terrain from underground to mountains. They are also often found in abandoned buildings vacated after some great tragedy. They seem to be drawn to the sense of doom that pervades these buildings.

While Redcaps are vicious hunters they are not very fond of eating flesh. They prefer to drink the blood of their victims or to suck the marrow from their bones. The main reason redcaps hunt is to keep their caps soaking in blood. Redcaps believe that if their caps are not kept constantly soaked deep red then the redcap will sicken and die. While there is little evidence of this, the redcaps believe it unquestioningly. They are so protective of their caps that some of them even sew their caps onto their scalps

Does anyone want a full map of the lizardfolk village? Right now it's just laid out like a group of areas in an old Zork game.

Area layout sounds fine. And sorry for the absence of posts. It's been a weird week.

Don't worry, you're just giving me more time to scheme over the boss lizard's anti-adventurer contingencies.

We could always just drop a huge rock on his hut. Or, we could kill two birds with one stone by crashing an airship into him!

No, wait. We organize a peace conference. Get everyone in one place. Then, bam! Airship.

If Yellow has a decent CMB, Pistol-Whip uses might be wiser than improvised crowbar assaults.

True but this is the age of flintlock and getting the flint on my weapons wet was not in yellows game plan so he packed them in his bag of holding so no pistol whip unfortunatly and I'm not sure if the plus one and increased damage potential is worth wielding his sword one handed which because its a bastard sword would leave him at minus 6 penalty plus whatever penalties fighting underwater causes not to mentions using such a large weapon in a grapple is against the rules I believe or at least causes further penalties. The crowbar is also at a minus 6 but at least is small sized so he can use it in a grapple without further penalties.

Long story short he atacks with a plus 1 to hit using his crowbar and asuming it does club damage that would be 1D6 plus 2

From where Reve is standing, how deep does the water look? Clearly deep enough to submerge Yellow and the lizardfolk, but 10 feet? 20 feet? NaN?

About 15 feet deep, the shallows don't exist here.

Just a note: Enlarged, Felf can reach the lizardfolk grappling Yellow with her weapons, but not her bare hands unless she actually dives in.

Somebody Medium would probably have to grab one of the floating spears.
