Mazes and Monsters is about how D&D is basically the same as LSD, and a recovering addict relapses with some friends at college and ends up destroying his life because of it. That's kind of the opposite of a movie about roleplaying games being used as a medium for encouraging someone to become the person they always wished they could be.
That reminds me of this music video.Ancient History wrote:

Peculiar properties of spacetime ensure that the perception of the magnitude of Soon is fluid and dependent, not on an individual's time-reference, but on spatial and cultural location. A marketer generally perceives Soon as a finite, known, yet unspeakable time-interval; to a fan, the interval appears greater, and may in fact approach the infinite, becoming Never. Once the interval has passed, however, a certain time-lensing effect seems to occur, and the time-interval becomes vanishingly small. We therefore see the strange result that the same fragment of spacetime may be observed, in quick succession, as Soon, Never, and All Too Quickly.
Here's that Elminster vs. Raistlin comic I mentioned in the Famous D&D Wizard thread-

That's some damn good, fluid animation in that last gif.

Isn't it great how absolutely batshit insane anime can sound when described like that? ^^

Really? Because it sounds and looks quiet tame, possibly promising as an anime, I'd seen a bit of it already, but "batshit insane"? No.
Exciting or interesting enough to even make it on this thread? No.
Exciting or interesting enough to get triple gifs? Noooo.
Interesting enough for an entire page of general fucking about with link incompetence? Oh HELL no.
Seriously. It's a witch in a shitty hospital gown on a gun. Linked three times (for no reason) multiplied by how many times the dumb ass posting it was totes for sure certain it would work this time (for dumb reasons).
If you think it's special, interesting or batshit insane you are the most boring person on the internet.

In context, which you probably don't care about but others might, the Princess of alternate-history Not-Liechtenstein and the witch have both, separately, been captured by the alternate-history not-Nazis. The witch is being stored in a deiselpunk cryogenic pod for transport back to Germany, and the Princess is being transported on the same plane for convenience. When the Nazi officer tells the princess that they plan to use her as a hostage and a propaganda tool, she grab's the officer's gun but gets shot in the arm and loses it. She then tells the Germans that she's not going to stop fighting until they kill her. However, while this was happening, the Germans have failed to notice that the gages on the cryogenic pod were going down and the seals were popping open. So the witch wakes up, and blows up the plane. She then enchants the gun and barely prevents the princess from going kersplat.Seriously. It's a witch in a shitty hospital gown on a gun.
Just for that, I have to do it right.Linked three times (for no reason) multiplied by how many times the dumb ass posting it was totes for sure certain it would work this time (for dumb reasons).
