Peculiar properties of spacetime ensure that the perception of the magnitude of Soon is fluid and dependent, not on an individual's time-reference, but on spatial and cultural location. A marketer generally perceives Soon as a finite, known, yet unspeakable time-interval; to a fan, the interval appears greater, and may in fact approach the infinite, becoming Never. Once the interval has passed, however, a certain time-lensing effect seems to occur, and the time-interval becomes vanishingly small. We therefore see the strange result that the same fragment of spacetime may be observed, in quick succession, as Soon, Never, and All Too Quickly.

This is another one you might want to spoiler before people with higher sensitivities log in tomorrow.

Well it's either a clever subversion because AH spoiled a perfectly harmless picture, or he's about to spring the revelation that this is someone's cooked dick stuffed with fetus' hearts.

My investigation into mememology indicates it is punnery based upon "Whoa, we're halfway there", a mishearing of lyrics of "living on a prayer".
From this I conclude that AH's days of disturbing image posts are coming to a middle.

And now for something not really completely different at all.

An artificer running around with wands of counterspell and golems, who calls himself The Spell Checker, sounds pretty fun.

In response to AH, Full Frontal Nerdity just finished a great little story about a fantasy Christmas-Halloween mashup that ends on a decidedly Lovecraftian note. The whole thing starts here. For those of you who don't want to go following links, here's the start and end comics spoilered below:

Why is full frontal nerdity so consistently soulless and unfunny at every fucking turn. HOW is it so unfunny. How is that even possible?
