Dumpshock is Cockblock

So there is a member of the Dumpshock Forums (Hipgnosis) who is starting an SR4 game in Memphis, TN. So I'm all like "Holy Shit! This isn't possible! Memphis is the bermuda triangle of gaming, and a fucking hole to boot. I gotta get in this game!" so I read his post in the GM/Players Registry and it said:

So i'm like this close from climaxing over this when I try to find his Email in his profile and click on the Send an Email menu option when I get this cockblock from Dumpshock:

So, I'm like, "K. I'll just set up an account, no biggie." 10 minuites and a pint of virgin blood later I'm staring at my yahoo mail account, with a shiny new account confermation Email from Dumpshock. Oh Joy! So I confirm my account and sign in (as Hicks. Imaginitive litter bugger, ain't I?) and go: GM/Players Registry: Memphis, TN: Hipgnosis: View Member Profile: Send an Email: COCKBLOCK.

Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot? Over. Alright, alright! so I try to PM the guy and:COCKBLOCK.

So then I try to reply to Hipgnosis's Topic when COCKBLOCK.

O. K. time to get serious, so I find the Admin (Redjack) and try to PM him to say that COCKBLOCK.

Fine, so then I try to start a new topic on how I can't do anythi-COCKBLOCK.

That's it. I lost it. I was on the top of my desk flinging my own shit at my Teacher and other classmates, who were huddled in a corner weeping at my terrifying rage. I then hulked out and ate them, jumped through the ceiling and into the sun, which is now getting warmer and threatens to supernova because the nuclear inferno at it's core is still cooler than my pirmeval rage. Convection for the Win, bitches.

Anyhoo, as I sit here in the middle of a now slightly blueish sun, willing my consiousness to connect to the internets of earth, can anyone with a working Dumpshock account find this Hipgnosis's Email for me? Thanks for your time.

I lived in TN for 7 years, from Cookville to Carthage, to Lebanon and then (almost) to Nashville. The middle part of the state is a roleplaying wasteland as well, unless you call handling rattlesnakes in the name of Jesus roleplaying. Seriously.

Great people live out there in the sticks, but they are seriously misguided when it comes to religion. Man, the stories I could tell...

I wish you the best, Hicks. Let us know how the game goes. Don't forget it could be a trap to do an intervention and pound you with Chick tracts...

Oh yeah, I remember that. The admins have to confirm you or something before you can actually do anything at all on Dumpshock. It's supposed to cut down on spam, but mostly it just makes people unable to post.

You simply need to click on the link in the system generated email to activate your account. No admin validation is required.
