Squirrelloid's thread seems to have been deleted... I wonder why.

That would have been too easy... for the WotC boards I needed to have some long-winded BS about it for folks to take it seriously

Actually, I'm that "fvcking retarded monkey" (thanks, btw </sarcasm>).[br][br]The point of that is to shut up the idiots who will scream that, say, Tome of Battle is overpowered because "In my game someone played a warblade and he totally dominated everything, that book is sooo broken...

If by "interesting" you mean "scary/frightening/disgusting" then yes :). But yeah, I'd love to hear more. I never thought they could be that stupid to look at things in a vacuum and say "Oh, this ability is too strong for that level." without thinking "Wait.. a PC ...

One can only hope.

I have to know something, and I hope you'll forgive me my ignorance for it. Why exactly do you guys have such a vehement hatred towards WotC? I mean, yeah a lot of the stuff there is... "unique" but wouldn't it be better to discuss it constructively instead of what amounts to "Hey, lo...

They HAVE no plan except "Let's get this sucker to print ASAP and hope for the best", or that's the impression I've gotten from it so far. That's the only way bullshit like this can occur, because they're too concerned with getting the book out the door than spending the time needed to edi...

Yeap that's pretty much what it looks like. Of course that's going by what I was told... I might have been given the standard stock response. But still, this kind of shit is fvcking unexcuseable. They REALLY need to quit with this "hire freelancers to write everything" bullshit, or at leas...

Indeed, but that's how it works. I asked Penny Williams and that's essentially what she said.. they'll hire someone based on their "expertise" with something, but they "aren't always up to speed with the 3.5 rules" and then they attempt to "fix" half the stuff after it'...

The "Cambions as Characters" statblock is an error and was missed during editing. From what I've been told, WotC hires folks based on their expertise with a specific area (in this case, the "old-school" fluff/history of Cambions) and doesn't really care if they know how the 3.5 r...

If I recall, the authors also say to ban the Druid. But honestly I think that adventure is a load of bullshit. My old group played through it and we were bored to tears about three sessions in.

1174029000[/unixtime]]Sorry about the thread Necromancy, but I just found another really awful feat, and couldn't resist posting about it... and I decided to post it here, rather then in a new thread.[br][br]Heroic Metamagic, from Races of Eberron, does less then nothing. It allows you to spend one...

(First post here... thanks to Dragon Child for pointing this board out to me)[br][br]I have encountered this in experience.. I actually left my last group because two of the prominent people there were of this sort and routinely got into arguments with me (well, that and I moved out of state). [br][...
