WHO ARE YOU!?
Since so many people starting saying their age in the Frank is Old thread it got me wondering about all you people and what your deals are.
So if you're not afraid of me trying to track you down and rape your dog tell me what your deal is? How old are you, what country/state are you in, what do you do? I'm suddenly curious about my fellow denners.
I'm 25, I live in Massachusetts, and I dropped out of college a couple years ago to become a comedian. I might move to New York soon. Your turn.

I'm 33, I'd rather not share my current location but I grew up in Virginia. I work in receiving moving heavy things around and have aspirations of getting on at a local water/wastewater plant (pissed off too many people back in the Shenandoah Valley but I think I can manage something in my new location).
I have a cat and a giant spider as friends.

In this moment, I am Ur-phoric. Not because of any phony god’s blessing. But because, I am enlightened by my int score.

I'm 28, and I come from the South. South Ausfailia, that is. I used to have terrible health, being horribly underweight, allergic to "flora and fauna" and with a view to killing myself. Now I'm generally healthier in every aspect, though I also look my age now as opposed to still getting carded at 25.
Barely passed grade 12 due to the depression and illness, but I scraped through. Now doing volunteer work in IT admin/support at the local high school (while on the social), and will soon be getting actually paid.
I have a pet dog - he belongs to my sister, but he thinks I belong to him as his "big sis".
I'm a happy drunk, too, though that's because I'm usually having fun already and my mum got scared and said "you're moving with yo auntie and uncle in Bel-Air."

I know I said I'm 21 in Frank's birthday thread, and I might have said that I live in Massachusetts.
Otherwise, I am currently a History major in my third year of college, and have no real intent of doing anything else big while in school; honestly, I'm a rather boring person.

Peculiar properties of spacetime ensure that the perception of the magnitude of Soon is fluid and dependent, not on an individual's time-reference, but on spatial and cultural location. A marketer generally perceives Soon as a finite, known, yet unspeakable time-interval; to a fan, the interval appears greater, and may in fact approach the infinite, becoming Never. Once the interval has passed, however, a certain time-lensing effect seems to occur, and the time-interval becomes vanishingly small. We therefore see the strange result that the same fragment of spacetime may be observed, in quick succession, as Soon, Never, and All Too Quickly.

Lessee now...
I live in Rozzy, which is a small neighborhood in Boston. The street I live on was also the location for the Mel Gibson film Edge of Darkness, and one of my Jewish neighbors made a huge-ass stink about Gibson being here, and it was funny. If you look reeeaaalll close in some shots, you can see my house for all of 1/3 of a nanosecond (It's white).
My mom drives a motorcycle. It's badass.
I spend my time playing video games and yelling at the internet. I am also a part-time student at Bunker Hill Community College, and I was in the Video Game Design degree program thingy, but it turned out to be far more difficult that I imagined it to be, and I can imagine a lot. So now I'm a flaky Lib Arts major. Ho-hum.
I'm arthritic even though I'm 21, thanks to the fact that I was born with bilateral clubbed feet, and the also thanks to the resultant surgery I had as a two month old infant. It hurts to walk or even stand for short periods of time.
Unlike the majority of you, I don't drink, smoke, or do any illicit drugs, and yes, I am lording it over you.
I have little knowledge of D&D, and mostly play it just for the roleplaying aspect, which may make some of you wonder why I'm even here.
You may not know this, but I live for Transformers, and know more about it then you ever could.
DarthRabbitt is a close friend of mine, we go way back.
I hate mint.
I like sugar.
I have a extremely severe entophobia, almost to the point of being debilitating.
I occasionally act like I'm high, but that's just the way I am.
I like to think I'm funny, and love to try and make people laugh.
I'm really socially awkward in real life, and am nothing at all like I am on the Holonet.
I like to talk about myself a lot, as you may or may not have guessed.

I'm 26, in Mobile, Alabama.
I'm working as a janitor, having done four years of college before the damn scholarship ran out on me.
And I'll fess up--I still live with the folks, because the job doesn't make -enough- to me to live on my own. I do earn enough to pay a couple of the bills, though, so I pay 'em gladly.
Also, I'm with Shrapnel there--I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, and I get seven or eight hours of sleep a night. It's one reason my apparent age is several years under my actual.
I don't drink because I just don't like the taste, and I don't smoke/do drugs because all four of my grandparents (and a couple of other relatives) all died from smoking-related cancers.
I took the hint.

He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.

As any of yinz who cared already knew, I'm in Pittsburgh.
I worked for over decade in food service hell, then got a position in survey purgatory with the local Unversity. I've now managed to luck my way into a full-time union position at the Unversity's Facilities Management division - which is in many ways like working 30 years ago - the wages are livable plus reasonable benefits, the organization is hierarchical for hierarchy's sake, the best way to get hired is being related to a supervisor and the higher ups don't understand modern concepts like those computers they use for email nor handling customer feedback. I can't say I'm thrilled about emptying trash cans and moving tables every night, but hopefully I can use the tuition benefit to finish that bachelor's degree I started on back before some of yinz had even been born.
For gaming credits: I was a playtester on an obscure CCG you never heard of, Exalted 1e (due to knowing Grabowski from back when) and the Puzzle Strike revision and expansion. (Also I wrote just under 1/3 of the official strategy guide for that.) Oh also, I was briefly Wiz)_Pony on the WotC boards.
As to other Denners, I've gamed with Dragon_Child and briefly met Oberoni and Thoth_Amon. ( Also there 's a member or three of my prior gaming groups who occasionally lurk on here)

"But transportation issues are social-justice issues. The toll of bad transit policies and worse infrastructure—trains and buses that don’t run well and badly serve low-income neighborhoods, vehicular traffic that pollutes the environment and endangers the lives of cyclists and pedestrians—is borne disproportionately by black and brown communities."

Germany, soon to be 29, close to Frankfurt (Main), consulting. I originally studied bioinformatics, but I didn't find all aspects of it interesting, so I chose not to add the PhD needed to actually work in a field related to my education. Consulting takes many lateral recruits, that's why I chose that. We're optimising the energy consumption of medium sized and large companies (up to ~200 GWh electricity consumption), but not global players.
I'm single and currently trying to do enough sports to negate the weight gain that comes with a 9 to 5 desk job. I haven't actually played any roleplaying games for rather long.

I'm a 21-year old physics student at the University of Victoria (British Columbia). I've always lived on Vancouver Island. I'm home for the summer now and working as a programmer for a local computer company. I used to be really paranoid about giving information to the internet, but I've loosened up a little (one of my early deviantART journals gave away too much anyway).
I ran a D&D campaign for a few years in high school, phasing in Tome material toward the end. I also ran ill-fated Earthdawn and BESM campaigns the last two summers. I haven't gamed lately, but I'm hoping someone will run something this summer.
I know there's at least one other Islander on this board, but I can't remember who.

I'll be 35 in a couple of days, and I live in Alaska. I work for the state government (child support), trying to drag their records management into the 21st century (currently working on converting to paperless files; it's an uphill battle). I have a bachelors in English. I also don't really play 3E/3.5, although I like fucking around with the rules...when I game (mostly online these days), I actually run AD&D.
I've never met any other denners (that I'm aware of).

I am judging the philosophies and decisions you have presented in this thread. The ones I have seen look bad, and also appear to be the fruit of a poisonous tree that has produced only madness and will continue to produce only madness.

30, Masters in Electrical Engineering with some other fiddly bits (minored in Electronic Music and Technical Writing; graduate certificate in Engineering Management). Currently work as an electronics engineer, formerly worked as a tech writer, freelanced as an RPG writer for Shadowrun for five years. Two blogs, working on a big Mythos essay/monograph. Military brat, so I moved around a fair bit, currently stuck in the ass-end of Georgia.
I'm 30, grew up in Massachusetts, then moved to Texas for my degrees in Physics and Mechanical and Energy Engineering. Currently a painfully underpaid engineer near-ish Dallas.

27/male/England. A small town in Norfolk, couple hours from London.
Currently unemployed. Just got back from school in Boston, MA. I was living in this utterly badass artist's loft in a warehouse. You know that scene in the South Park movie where Kenny floats up to heaven and for a brief moment luxuriates amoung wonderful, scantily clad angels, basking in the radiance of it and getting a glimpse of what his life could be like henceforth, before pressing the button, finding out he's not good enough to get in, and then tumbles down through the void and into hell? That's pretty much what happened here.
I have more friends than I deserve, I'm living with understanding parents who's expectations have thankfully lowered with time, and I'm in an open relationship with a beautiful girlfriend who loves and dotes on me for absolutely no good reason. She doesn't know it, but I'm wondering if I actually even love her or not. Feeling horribly trapped.
New York is super nice, but very expensive to exist in. I hope it treats you well! I have some outstanding gaming buddies near Brooklyn and various parts, if you're looking for social contacts when you get there.

I'm 25, male, and work in the food industry doing all sorts of shit. Right now I feed college//uni students who can barely wipe their own ass. Good job for the most part.
I was in the army for a month when I was 18, but I was given a medical discharge. Might rejoin if I get my eyes fixed.
My health hasn't been so amazing the last 7 years, but things are slowly getting better. I have a bad back, bad eyes, and my inner ear is fucked up. My hearing is also about half gone in both ears. Could be a lot worse, so I'm happy.
I'm single and live in my parent's basement, yay.
I'm a firearms enthusiast and I love the outdoors. I enjoy reading about farming, homesteading, and disaster readiness. I also fucking love video games and D&D.
I've gamed with Koumei, Maxus, 8headeddragon, and Zinegata. Also DMed for some of them.
My current goals are starting a game company to publish shit and trying to make more than 13k a year. These are probably mutually exclusive. Would love to go to post-secondary, but cash...
